Kai Shih is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both technology and leadership roles. Currently, Kai serves as the President of the Board of Directors at Denise Louie Education Center and holds positions on the boards of directors at Cascade Bicycle Club and UCDS. As the Founder of Shih Investments since 2009, Kai has demonstrated entrepreneurial prowess. Prior career highlights include serving as Tech Lead and Engineering Manager at Google for iGoogle and as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in algorithms for Netflix, where projects focused on movie recommendations and personalization. Early career experience includes a Senior Consultant role at Ernst & Young, notable for a project with Hewlett-Packard featured in Harvard Business Review. Kai's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in biophysics from the University of Michigan.
