Frank A. Franklin II, PhD, JD, MPH, FCPP, currently serves as the Interim Health Commissioner for the City of Philadelphia, overseeing a public health department with a budget of approximately $1 billion and 1,000 staff across 12 divisions. Previously, Franklin held the position of Deputy Health Commissioner at the Philadelphia Department of Public Health and has contributed to multiple academic and scientific organizations, including the University City Science Center and the Monell Chemical Senses Center.
