Audrey Merket

Audrey Merket is a seasoned professional in communications and public information, currently serving as a Science Writer and Public Information Officer at UCAR, where responsibilities include crafting news releases and training scientists in effective communication with the public. Prior experience includes internships at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where Audrey contributed to the Solar Decathlon by developing media kits and executing events, as well as managing the HeroX prize platform for the Buildings UP initiative. Audrey's background also encompasses roles as a Fitness Instructor and Trainer for the City of Golden, a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Jeffco Public Schools, and a Regional Recruiter for Utah State University. Audrey holds a Master’s degree in Communications Management with a PR Concentration from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Utah State University.
