Vanessa Vincente

Vanessa Vincente is an experienced associate scientist with a strong background in atmospheric science and meteorology. Currently serving as Associate Scientist II at UCAR since June 2016, Vanessa supports the development of educational and training content across various meteorological disciplines, including tropical meteorology and climate science. Prior roles include Research Associate II at CIRA/UCAR/UCP/The COMET Program and a position as Student Coordinator at the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere, where Vanessa focused on tropical cyclone risk assessment and uncertainty. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Valparaiso University, complemented by diverse internship experiences with the National Weather Service and Larimer County Department of Emergency Management.
