John Orton

John Orton is an accomplished finance and risk management executive with extensive experience in the credit union industry and beyond. Currently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management at UFCU, a credit union with over $4 billion in assets, John oversees key areas including fraud, collections, legal, facilities, and compliance. Prior to UFCU, John held the position of Senior Vice President and CFO at Amplify Credit Union for 16 years, where John drove financial leadership and operational transformation. Additionally, John founded Antiqueland USA, leading it to become the largest antique mall chain in the country. Earlier roles included CFO for Littlefield Corporation and Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at Dell EMC, where John contributed to rapid growth and significant market capitalization increases. John holds an MBA and a BBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business, as well as an AA from Concordia University Texas.
