Raquel Garcia

Raquel Garcia, BSN, RN, is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Manager and Community Health Education Nurse at University Health KC since July 2011. In this role, Raquel Garcia focuses on delivering care through nurse-managed community strategies aimed at improving the health and wellness of vulnerable populations. Responsibilities include developing innovative healthcare delivery models and reducing barriers to care through strategic partnerships with an emphasis on health maintenance and illness prevention. Prior to this, Raquel Garcia worked as a Women's Care Registered Nurse at Research Medical Center and as a Public Health Nurse with the Family Nurse Partnership National Unit. Raquel Garcia holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rockhurst University.
