Carol A. Huber

Carol A. Huber, DrPH, MBA, currently serves as Vice President at the Institute for Public Health and Deputy Chief Public Health and Equity Officer at University Health since November 2022. Huber is an active member of the Texas Value-Based Payment and Quality Improvement Advisory Committee, holding the position of Past Chair since September 2021. In academia, Huber has been appointed as an Assistant Professor and MPH/MBA Program Director at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston since January 2024, and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Texas A&M School of Public Health starting April 2024, alongside an Adjunct Assistant Professorship at UT Health San Antonio from September 2024. Previous roles include Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives at Community First Health Plans, Director of Regional Healthcare Partnership at University Health System, and various leadership positions in Community First Health Plans and University Health System. Huber holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health from Texas A&M University, a Doctor of Public Health from UTHealth, and an MBA from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
