About
The leadership team at University Health System has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. The team includes individuals who have worked as a regional director, quality improvement at Baptist Health System, a craftsman instructor at United States Air Force, and a clinical professor at UT Health San Antonio. Additionally, the team has members who have served as an adjunct professor of public health at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), an adjunct professor in healthcare administration at Trinity University, and the assistant director of health at City of San Antonio. Most recently, the team added a vice president, strategy & development at Christus Spohn Health System and the ED, revenue cycle management, Spohn Health Network at CHRISTUS Health. The team is rounded out by a multi-site director at Accretive Health and the director, admissions and patient financial services at University of Colorado Hospital. All members of the leadership team have obtained degrees from esteemed institutions such as The Johns Hopkins University, University of Oxford, and University of Colorado Denver.
