Anne Geweniger

Anne Geweniger is a Research Fellow at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg since March 2021, focusing on the mental health impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children with special healthcare needs. Additionally, Anne serves as a Medical Doctor and Researcher at University Hospital Freiburg in the Department of Paediatrics, involved in clinical research projects and interprofessional education initiatives. Notably, Anne received a poster prize from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Pädiatrische Infektiologie for research on diagnostic pathways for TB in unaccompanied minor refugees. Previous experience includes an internship at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where project work centered on maternal and child health. Anne holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Freiburg.
