Dr. Simone Weber

Dr. Simone Weber is a Project Manager at Universitätsklinikum Freiburg since March 2020, focusing on implementing phase I/II and phase III clinical trials within the Early Clinical Trial Unit. Prior to this role, Dr. Weber undertook a sabbatical from March 2018 to June 2019 for extensive travel, and served as Deputy Division Manager of PCR Technologies at MLL Münchner Leukämielabor from October 2010 to February 2018, where responsibilities included operational management of technical staff and overseeing various clinical research projects. Qualifications include a PhD in Biology obtained at the Technical University of Munich, alongside certifications in Good Manufacturing Practice and Agile Project Management. Previous academic experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau.
