Piret Kleis is a researcher and PHD student specializing in experimental epilepsy with a focus on mesial temporal lobe epilepsy, in vivo electrophysiology, and optogenetics. Previously worked as a Student Research Assistant at Bernstein Coordination Site, supporting the organization of Bernstein Conference 2018 and managing archives, databases, and the home page of BCOS. Holds a Master of Science in Neuroscience from The University of Freiburg and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with Neuroscience honours from The University of Edinburgh.
