Jennifer Carpenter DNP, RN, CENP, serves as the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at University Hospitals, a position held since 2012. Over the years, Jennifer has progressed through various leadership roles within the organization, including Chief Nursing Officer, Interim Chief Nurse Executive, Vice President of IT Clinical Systems, and Director of IT Clinical Applications. Jennifer's educational background includes a Doctorate from the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University, an MSN in Nursing Informatics from Walden University, and a BSN from The University of Toledo. Earlier experience at University Hospitals includes a position as Team Lead from 2006 to 2011.
