Kelly Black

Kelly Black is a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) with extensive experience in anesthesia for adult and pediatric general surgery, as well as cardiac, thoracic, and trauma procedures, currently employed at University Hospitals since February 2019. Previously, Kelly held various positions at Cleveland Clinic, including Registered Nurse in the Coronary ICU, where responsibilities encompassed care for patients with complex cardiac conditions, and as a Registered Nurse in the Coronary Care Unit and a Colorectal/Med-Surg Floor, developing strong clinical skills in critical and surgical care. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia from Case Western Reserve University, along with additional MSN degrees in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Adult/Gero Nurse Practitioner from Kent State University and The University of Akron, respectively, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Ursuline College.
