Wendy Miano

Wendy Miano is a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in palliative and oncology care. Currently, Wendy serves as a Nurse Practitioner at University Hospitals since January 2025. Prior to this role, Wendy worked at Hospice of the Western Reserve from December 2019 to January 2025 as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner, and also held positions as a Home Hospice RN and Nurse Practitioner. Wendy transitioned into the Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner role in March 2022 and is expected to take on the Western Reserve Navigator Palliative Care Program in March 2033. Wendy's career includes a Vice President position at Mount Sinai Health System and a lengthy tenure at University Hospitals, where Wendy served as Director of Nursing Services at the UH Seidman Cancer Center. Wendy's educational background includes multiple Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Case Western Reserve University, complemented by post-MSN studies in Adult/Gero NP and Palliative Care at Ursuline College.
