Jason Phillips MD is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in family medicine, emergency medicine, and pediatric care. Currently serving as a physician at CareNow, MDLIVE, and Teladoc Health since 2019 and 2020, respectively, Jason also maintains a long-standing role as an emergency room physician at Legacy ER & Urgent Care since 2014. As an expert witness since 2006, Jason provides valuable insights related to educational challenges, developmental delays, and psychiatric issues in legal cases. Additionally, Jason has been involved in soccer officiating at various levels since 1982 and served as a team physician for Carthage High School athletics from 2009 to 2014. Jason holds an MD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed residency at Charlton Methodist Family Medicine, earning board certification in family medicine.

The UIL has grown into the largest interschool organization of its kind in the world. The voluntary membership organization exists to provide educational extracurricular academic, athletic and music contests. For more than a century the UIL has helped mold the leaders of tomorrow, and it will continue to do so for the next 100 years.
