Roger Rivet has extensive work experience in the medical field. Roger began their career at North Oaks Health System in 1996, where they served as the Interventional Radiology Supervisor until August 2021. During their time at North Oaks Health System, they also held the position of Clinical Nurse Manager for the ICU and ICA from July 2020 to November 2022. In November 2022, they joined the University Medical Center New Orleans as the Director of the Invasive Lab Department.

Roger Rivet completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Southeastern Louisiana University between 1991 and 1996. Roger went on to pursue a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from LSU Shreveport, completing it between 2018 and 2020.
