Patti Corder

Patti Corder has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Patti is currently serving as the Director of Operating Room at University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) since January 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked as an OR Charge Nurse & Circulator at Medical City Arlington from April 2019 to December 2021. Patti also worked as a Surgical Distributor at Cutting Edge Medical from February 2004 to May 2020 and as an OR Manager at Surgical & Diagnostic Center from March 2018 to March 2019. Patti has also worked as a Registered Nurse at OR Nurses Nationwide from November 2017 to March 2019. Patti's early career includes roles such as Medical Sales Consultant at GLG Research Member Solutions from February 2005 to November 2017, Medical Device Sales Representative at Bailey Management Group from March 2002 to February 2006, and National Nurse Consultant at NuVasive from January 2003 to January 2005. Prior to that, they worked as a Registered Nurse at MISSISSIPPI METHODIST REHABILITATION CENTER from September 1998 to February 2004 and at Southern Health Care from October 1994 to October 2003.

Patti Corder completed their education at two different institutions. Patti began their academic journey at Mississippi College from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as their degree in the field of study of Nursing. Later, in 2020 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Healthcare Administration at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. In addition to their formal education, Patti Corder holds several certifications related to their profession. These certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association, Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association, Certified Nurse Operative Room (CNOR) from the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association and American Academy of Pediatrics, and finally, they are also a Registered Nurse (RN) according to the Texas Board of Nursing.
