Hamza Baali

Hamza Baali is a highly experienced researcher with a strong background in mechatronics, robotics, and automation engineering. Currently serving as a researcher at the University of Adelaide since June 2024, Hamza has held key positions including visiting researcher at FEMTO-ST Institute from September 2019 to November 2024, and postdoctoral researcher at Hamad Bin Khalifa University from November 2017 to November 2024. Previous roles include researcher at Qatar University, senior design engineer at MIT Technologies, research assistant at IIUM, and freelance lecturer at centre universitaire de BBA. Hamza earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia between 2010 and 2013, and holds a Master’s degree in signal and communications from Ecole Nationale Polytechnique, completed in 2008.
