Thamindu Sasitha

Thamindu Sasitha is a Research Assistant at the University of Adelaide, focusing on developing and fine-tuning Large Language Models to enhance mental health initiatives. Previously, Thamindu held the position of Operations Supervisor at SIXT Australia, where responsibilities included supervising frontline teams and ensuring business processes met monthly targets. Prior experience includes an Artificial Intelligence Internship at i-Wonder Sri Lanka, improving an object detection system, and serving as an Associate Software Engineer at Virtusa, engaging in software development using Java and SQL. Thamindu holds a Master of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Curtin University.
