Ashwini Katre

Ashwini Katre is a Clinical Research Regulatory Coordinator at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since June 2022, facilitating communication between the principal investigator and site staff within a clinical research team. Additionally, Ashwini has been a Lab Manager in Dr. Rebecca Arend’s Lab since 2014, overseeing a team of five personnel focused on translational ovarian cancer research. Previous experience includes a role as a Digital Marketing Intern at See Yourself Health and extensive research positions at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where Ashwini developed lab standard operating procedures and conducted studies on ovarian cancer mechanisms and lung health. Ashwini holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, along with dual Master's degrees in Public Health from the same institution and the University of Pune, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of Pune.
