Carmen De Miguel is an accomplished academic with a strong background in physiology and molecular biology. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor, Instructor, and former Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since January 2014, Carmen previously worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Regents University from August 2010 to December 2013. Educationally, Carmen achieved a Doctor of Philosophy in Physiology from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where studies were completed from 2005 to 2010, following a Master of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from St. Cloud State University from 2003 to 2005.
