Mary Blanchard Wallace

Mary Blanchard Wallace, PhD, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Student Experience at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since July 2017. Prior to this role, Mary held various positions at Louisiana State University, including Associate Dean of Students and Director of Campus Life, as well as Associate Director of Residence Education within the Department of Residential Life. Mary's earlier experience includes roles at Texas Woman's University as Assistant Director of Housing Administration and Operations and Residence Life Coordinator, as well as serving as a Residence Life Coordinator at The University of Tulsa and a Counselor for Upward Bound at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Mary earned a PhD in Human Resource Education and Workforce Development from Louisiana State University, a Master of Arts in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Northwestern State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Psychology and Biology from Northwestern State University.
