Marylyn West

Marylyn West has extensive experience in data analytics and advancement services, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Advancement Services at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since June 2012. In this role, Marylyn leads a team focused on data analytics and various initiatives within Advancement Services. Prior to this, experience includes serving as an IT Business Analyst at Jones Stephens Corp., where reporting for financial, sales, and inventory departments was a key responsibility. As an Independent Contractor, Marylyn specialized in Crystal Reporting for various companies, managing report requests and producing detailed reports. Previous roles also include Applications Manager at Ready Mix USA, where Marylyn focused on Crystal Report creation and application support, as well as Office Manager/Consultant at ACP, Inc., working with a diverse range of clients on custom applications and project management. Marylyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
