Arman Hemmati is the UA Engineering Research Chair in Emissions Reduction Technologies at the University of Alberta, focusing on fluid mechanics and unsteady turbulent flows with applications across energy, aerospace, and autonomous systems. His research interests include Computational Fluid Dynamics, turbulence modeling, and alternative energy technologies. Hemmati also serves as Director and Principal Simulation Specialist at AeroEnergy Consulting, providing expertise in Computational Engineering and Fluid Mechanics. Prior positions include Research Fellow at Princeton University, Research Associate at the University of Calgary, and various roles at Shell and the UNFCCC.
