Lawrence Richer

Lawrence Richer has an extensive career in health research and clinical practice, currently serving as Associate Dean Health Research and Professor at the University of Alberta since 2001. Additionally, Lawrence holds the position of Vice-Dean Research (clinical) and has been involved in clinical and translational research as Associate Dean. Since September 2015, Lawrence has also been the Director of the Northern Alberta Clinical Trials and Research Centre. In conjunction with these roles, Lawrence serves as a Pediatric Neurologist at Alberta Health Services. From May 2013 to July 2020, Lawrence was Associate Director at the Women and Children's Health Research Institute. Lawrence earned an MD in Medicine from McGill University and previously completed studies at the University of Alberta.
