Matt Bouchard

Matt Bouchard serves as the Learning Design Lead at NAIT, where a significant achievement includes the growth of the Learning Experience Design team from one to ten staff while maintaining an 80% retention rate in a contract workforce. With extensive experience at the University of Alberta since 2006, roles have included Learning Design Project Lead and Assistant Lecturer, where instructional methods focus on teaching complex concepts. Matt also has a long-standing consultancy, Bouchard Consulting, providing technical and design advice primarily for software and web projects. Additionally, as a PhD student at the University of Toronto, contributions include designing and guiding instructional materials in information systems courses. Matt holds a Ph.D. in Information Science/Studies and has master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Alberta in Humanities Computing and Computing Science, respectively.
