Michelle Rowland

Michelle Rowland is an experienced Human Resources professional with a comprehensive background in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR generalist activities. Currently serving as a Human Resources Service Partner at the University of Alberta since April 2022, Michelle has previously held positions as a Human Resources Consultant for the Government of Alberta, where support was provided through the full cycle talent acquisition process, and as a Business Coordinator at Human Resources Business Partner. Additional roles include Human Resources Advisor at Weatherford Canada Partnership, managing human resource functions for over 1200 employees, and implementing change management policies at Sysco Edmonton. Michelle's diverse experience encompasses recruitment, staff development, conflict resolution, and compliance with HR policies, alongside a solid educational foundation from Grant MacEwan University.
