Xiaolei Wang

Xiaolei WANG is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of chemical and biomolecular engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Alberta since August 2019, WANG previously held the position of Assistant Professor at Concordia University from August 2017 to July 2019. Prior to that, WANG worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow Researcher at the University of Waterloo from November 2013 to July 2017 and as a Research Associate at the University of California, Los Angeles for a brief period in 2013. Teaching and research contributions began at UCLA from September 2007 to June 2013, where WANG served as a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Visiting Student. WANG earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from UCLA (2009-2013), a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University (2004-2007), and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (Polymer) from Dalian University of Technology (2000-2004).
