Sergio Campanella

Sergio Campanella is a seasoned expert in sustainable urban development, currently serving as a Peer Review Expert at the EUI Permanent Secretariat in Lille, France, since May 2024. Concurrently, Sergio is a member of the European Cohesion Alliance, promoting strong cohesion policies within the EU. With extensive leadership experience as the Director of the Local Action Group "Eloro" since 1998 and as a Legal Representative at S.E.C. since 1994, Sergio also holds a position as a Visiting Professor at the University of Alicante. Previous roles include Chief Expert in the URBACT III and URBACT II EU programs, along with contributions to the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructures of Luxembourg. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Export Management, studies in EU Social Policies, and a Laurea magistrale in Political Science from the Università degli Studi di Catania.
