Theo Araujo

Theo Araujo is a Professor of Media, Organisations and Society and the Scientific Director of the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR) at the University of Amsterdam since February 2015. Specializing in Digital Society research, Araujo also serves as Associate Professor in Communication Science and Co-Director of the Digital Communication Methods Lab. Prior to this, Araujo held various managerial roles at Hewlett-Packard from March 2005 to January 2015, overseeing localization services and digital support. Araujo's academic credentials include a PhD and a Master of Science in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam, an MBA in Marketing from ESPM, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication - Journalism from USP.
