Fritz Pörnbacher

President at University of Applied Sciences Landshut

Fritz Pörnbacher is the current President at University of Applied Sciences Landshut. Fritz has held this position since October 2010. Prior to this, they served as Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Business Administration at Hochschule Landshut from March 1995 to September 2010. From August 1989 to February 1995, they were labor leader at Siemens. Professor Pörnbacher has also been project leader for the cooperation between Hochschule Landshut and Shanghai Technical Institute for Electronics and Information since 2003, and later also with Shanghai Normal University. Fritz's areas of expertise include digital technology, digital circuit design with VHDL, embedded systems, power electronics, mechatronics, and various types of business simulations. Fritz has also moderated and presented on various topics, including meditation techniques.

Fritz Pörnbacher earned their Dr. Ing. in elektrotechnik from the Technische Universität München.
