Gerald Reisinger started their work experience in 1998 as a Partner at Neumann International. In 2004, they became the President of Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences.

Gerald Reisinger attended the Military Academy Austria from 1977 to 1980, but did not complete any specific degree or field of study. Later, they pursued their studies at the Johannes Kepler Universität, where they obtained a Jus degree in 1986.
