Christy Drale

Christy Drale has been the Chancellor at University of Arkansas at Little Rock since 2019.

Christy previously served as the President at Missouri State University from 2016 to 2019.

Before that, they were the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at University of Arkansas at Little Rock from 2012 to 2016.

Christy also served as the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at University of Arkansas at Little Rock from 2007 to 2012.

Drale began their career at University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1994 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations.

Christy Drale received their Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego. Christy also holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from UC San Diego. In addition, they have completed the Institute for Management and Leadership in Education at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education.
