Uday Akkaraju

Uday Akkaraju currently serves as Chairman & CEO of BOND.AI, a pioneering human-centered AI platform for financial institutions, since January 2018. In addition to this role, Uday holds the position of General Partner at B21 Ventures and serves on the Board of the STEM Leadership Council at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Uday also contributes as a Mentor/Advisor at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, and as an advisor to VeVerse and Menstrupedia. Previous experience includes an advisory role at OpinionX and co-founding and leading NUCREUS, a design lab focused on Brain-Computer Interfaces and Artificial Intelligence. Uday’s academic background includes a Master’s in Human-Centered Design from the National Institute of Design, research in Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science at Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor's in Technology from the Vellore Institute of Technology.
