Nazia Mehrban

Nazia Mehrban is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in tissue engineering, particularly focusing on soft and hard tissue interfaces. Currently serving as a Principal Investigator (Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer) at the University of Bath since October 2021, Nazia also holds positions as an Honorary Associate at The Open University and a Fellow at the Higher Education Authority. Previous roles include UCL Healthcare Engineering Impact Fellow and Senior Research Fellow at UCL, as well as a visiting scholar at the University of Pittsburgh. Nazia's academic journey began with a PhD in tissue engineering from the University of Birmingham, completed in 2010.
