Philip Brown

Head Of Technology Transfer at University of Bath

Philip Brown has a diverse work experience spanning several sectors. Philip started their career at the University of Cambridge as a postdoctoral researcher in 1997. Philip then moved on to Cytocell Ltd, where they worked on new technology development from 1998 to 2000. Philip joined PharmaVentures as a senior business consultant in 2001, staying with the company until 2005. From 2005 to 2011, Philip worked as a commercial analyst at Vectura Ltd. In 2011, they became an independent business professional before joining the University of Bath as a research commercialisation manager in 2012. Recently, they became the Head of Technology Transfer at the University of Bath.

Philip Brown has a diverse education history. Philip earned a BSc in Biochemistry/Pharmacology from the University of Southampton in 1994, followed by a PhD in Molecular biology/Pharmacology from the same institution in 1997. Philip continued their education by pursuing an MBA degree in Business at Oxford Brookes University from 2002 to 2003. In 2009, Philip earned a Certificate in Health Economics from the University of York.
