Dr Joseph Haldane

Dr Joseph Haldane is an accomplished academic and leader with extensive experience in the fields of education, research, and international cooperation. Serving as the Chairman and CEO of the International Academic Forum (IAFOR) since its inception in 2009, Dr Haldane has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s strategy and overseeing its academic operations. In addition to this role, Dr Haldane holds the position of Honorary Professor at University College London and serves as Co-Director of the OSIPP-IAFOR Research Center at Osaka University. With visiting professorships at multiple institutions, including Doshisha University and the University of Belgrade, Dr Haldane contributes to global governance and ethics through teaching and research. Dr Haldane's involvement in the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network and as a professor at the European Center for Peace and Development reflects a commitment to addressing pressing global issues through interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration. Dr Haldane earned a PhD in 19th Century French History, Politics, and Literature from The University of London Institute in Paris.
