David Burke

David Burke, PhD, currently serves as Prospect Development Manager and previously held the position of Prospect Development Officer at the University of Birmingham since December 2023, focusing on identifying and researching philanthropic prospects. In addition, David has been a lecturer at Explore Lifelong Learning since January 2021, designing adult education programs. Prior experience includes a lengthy tenure at Voicentric Ltd from February 2015 to December 2023, where roles included Program Manager, Project Coordinator, and various team leadership positions, overseeing marketing teams and client relationships. David has also contributed to adult education history programs for the Tyneside Irish Cultural Society and served as an academic convenor and lecturer for Durham University's International Summer School. David holds a Ph.D. in History from Durham University and has a strong academic background with additional degrees from the University of Galway and an international exchange at the University of Ottawa.
