Omid Doustdar

Omid Doustdar is an accomplished academic at the University of Birmingham, serving in multiple capacities including Assistant Professor, Teaching Fellow, Research Fellow, Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant since July 2015. Doustdar also holds the position of Doctoral Researcher in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, Doustdar is actively involved with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers as a Committee Member-Coordinator for the Automobile Division and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for De Gruyter's Journal of Open Engineering and as Associate Editor for the Journal of Biofuels Engineering. A reviewer for various prestigious journals, including those published by MDPI and Elsevier, Doustdar has a distinguished background with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, complemented by a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution and Amirkabir University of Technology, respectively. Doustdar's research focuses on renewable energies, specifically in areas such as fuel reforming and biomass conversion.
