Joseph Akpan

Joseph Akpan is an eyes-high doctoral research fellow and a graduate assistant at the University of Calgary, registered in new Sustainable Systems Engineering program. He has previously received academic and industrial training in Nigeria, South Africa, Spain, and Hong Kong. He has published editor's choice/feature papers and other articles and actively contributes to the scientific community as a reviewer for ESCI and SCI-indexed journals.

His research spans the intersection of tools from engineering, science, and public policy, with a focus on providing system-scale quantitative analysis to promote equitable and sustainable decision-making in electric vehicles infrastructure operations and management.
