Katie MacInnis

Katie MacInnis, CPA, CA, serves as the Senior Finance Partner at the University of Calgary since April 2018, and also holds a position as a Member of the Board of Directors at the University Child Care Centre Society since May 2021. Previously, Katie worked at Stryker as a Senior Financial Compliance Analyst from October 2014 to March 2018, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and managing audit procedures. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Accountant at KPMG and as an Accountant at MGM & Associates, along with serving on the board of Young Women in Business (YWiB) from May 2012 to June 2014. Katie completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and Finance at Cape Breton University from 2005 to 2009 and attended the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy in 2009-2010.
