Sarah K. Clarke

Sarah K. Clarke, MSPH, serves as the Executive Director at the Society of Refugee Healthcare Providers since January 2018, where responsibilities include managing activities, strategic planning, and communications, as well as co-organizing the North American Refugee Health Conference. In addition to this role, Sarah is a collaborator for the Refugee Health YYC research program at the University of Calgary and has held various positions in communications and evaluation at organizations including C3 Collaborating for Health, the International Rescue Committee, and Smart Health Solutions, Inc. A background in qualitative research includes consultancy work for Médecins Sans Frontières, where pro bono data analysis focused on maternal deaths, and experience as Special Health Needs Care Coordinator at the International Rescue Committee, overseeing medical case management for refugees. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Global Mental Health certificate from the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma.
