Bir Bhanu

Bir Bhanu is an esteemed academic and researcher currently serving as the Bourns Presidential Chair and Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Riverside, a position held since January 1991, with tenure as a Distinguished Professor beginning in July 2010. Bhanu also directs the CRIS Center and has previously held the role of Interim Chair of Bioengineering from July 2014 to June 2016. Earlier professional experience includes significant roles at Honeywell Inc. and the University of Utah, as well as work in digital systems at Ford Aerospace and Communications Corporation.
