Heather M. Correa

Heather M. Correa currently serves as the Senior Coordinator for New Student Programs at the University of California, Riverside, a position held since June 2014, where responsibilities include planning and managing campus-wide orientation programs for over 6,000 first-year students and their families. Previously, Heather held the role of Community Director for the Engineering Living Learning Community at Texas A&M University, overseeing a large team of graduate and resident advisors alongside more than 650 residents. Additional experience includes positions at Northeastern University as an Orientation Coordinator, at Teachers College, Columbia University as a Higher Education Intern, and various roles at UC Santa Barbara, including Program Assistant and Peer Advisor. Heather holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in English from UC Santa Barbara.
