Sarang Gupta

Sarang Gupta is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Asana since February 2020, playing a pivotal role as the founding Data Scientist on the Asana Intelligence Team, focusing on building ML-powered user experiences and providing strategic insights for product features. Gupta holds an Advisory Board Member position at the University of California, Riverside for the Design Thinking Program. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at the Brown Institute for Media Innovation, where a research paper was published at EMNLP 2020, and a Data Scientist at Bloomberg, Care/of, and Goldman Sachs, among others. Gupta's education includes a Master’s degree in Data Science from Columbia University and a dual degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
