Shloka Homa

Shloka Homa is an accomplished individual with a robust background in health and community service, currently serving as a UCR School of Medicine Ultrasound Scholar since May 2022. Homa has played pivotal roles in various initiatives, such as leading the Mini Medical School Foster Youth Health Project and mentoring pre-health students through the Medical Scholars Program. Experience as Scribe Lead at Inland Vineyard Free Clinic showcases proficiency in patient documentation, while founding the Inland Empire Foster Youth Wellness Program demonstrates a commitment to addressing health disparities. Other contributions include volunteering as an Emergency Medical Technician and serving in leadership roles within the UCR CNAS Science Ambassador program and SISTERs project. Homa holds a degree in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology with a Pre-Medicine focus from the University of California, Riverside, completed in 2023.
