Brent Pearson

Brent Pearson is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cybersecurity, engineering, and executive management. Currently serving as the Security and Advocacy Program Manager at the University of California, San Francisco since February 2022, Brent has developed a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and improved business process management for affiliation contracts. Previously, as Fractional CTO/CIO at Napa Logic LLC from January 2014 to February 2022, Brent provided executive technology leadership across various sectors, including high-tech, blockchain, and media, managing development teams and overseeing system architectures. In prior roles, Brent held significant positions such as CTO at UBM Tech, where responsibilities included setting engineering roadmaps and leading software development, and VP of Engineering at Lawdex, focusing on technology vision and secure production systems. Educational credentials include a BA in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Music from the University of Arizona, along with earlier studies at Berklee College of Music.
