Fung Lam

Fung Lam is an experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist currently serving as President of the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society since September 2019. Lam has been with Golden Gate Obstetrics and Gynecology Inc. and UCSF since July 1985, holding the position of Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences. Additionally, Lam has played a crucial role at California Pacific Medical Center as Chair of GYN Quality Assurance and Chief of Gynecology since January 1998, and previously served as Vice-Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology until March 2013. In academia, Lam has held a clinical professorship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center since August 2008 and previously served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society from October 2010 to September 2018. Lam's earlier experience includes a command position in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps from October 1989 to September 1992. Educational qualifications include an MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, obtained between 1977 and 1981.
