Mona Asghari Ahmadabad

Mona Asghari Ahmadabad, M.D., currently serves as a Postdoctoral Scholar in both the Radiology and Neurological Surgery Departments at the University of California, San Francisco, since July 2023. In addition, Mona contributes as a Guest Editor for PLOS ONE and a Review Editor for the Endovascular and Interventional Neurology section of Frontiers in Neurology Journal, both starting in 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Trainee at Mayo Clinic from November 2022 to July 2023 and as a Research Fellow and Medical Intern at Guilan University of Medical Sciences from October 2019 to October 2022. Mona co-founded the Guilan Neuroscience Student Research Committee and served as a Student Researcher at the Guilan Neuroscience Research Center from March 2017 to June 2021. Academically, Mona obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from Guilan University of Medical Sciences, completing studies in July 2021, and attended the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Sampad) from 2009 to 2013.
