Nicole Fisher

Nicole Fisher, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, San Francisco, where research focuses on the cellular mechanisms of GPCR regulation under the mentorship of Dr. Mark von Zastrow since January 2021. Previously, as a PhD Candidate at the Vanderbilt Center for Neuroscience Drug Discovery from May 2015 to January 2021, Nicole Fisher was co-mentored by Dr. Colleen Niswender. Earlier academic experience includes an undergraduate research role in the lab of Dr. Christopher Makaroff at Miami University from January 2011 to May 2014 and two summer internships as an R&D Researcher Intern at Procter & Gamble from May 2012 to August 2013, where responsibilities involved defining product specifications and evaluating materials. Nicole Fisher earned a PhD in Pharmacology from Vanderbilt University between 2014 and 2020 and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Miami University from 2010 to 2014.
